The ISPmanager Control Panel requirements are minimal. The Panel is more universal with broad support for mixed-platform environments and manages a wide range of third party software.

Operating Systems Requirements

• Operating system:
  • FreeBSD
  • Linux: all variants of Debian or CentOS Linux. You can manually install any Linux distribution.
• Hard disk system quotas support (optional)
  We would not recommend you to partition the disk. After calling this method, you will be able to work only with disk quotas on the section where the /home directories are stored
  
  Configure and enable quotas for better management of your customers.

System Resources Requirements

The ISPmanager Control Panel has been developed to consume low resources and run even on a low powered home server or VPS.

Any resource amounts listed below (disk space, memory etc) are minimum recommendations and a greater amount of the given resource is usually beneficial but not required.

• Disk Space ~ 40 MB.
• RAM Memory ~ 10 MB.

Software Requirements

The required software will be added on user’s server during the installation from his/her operating system repositories. If a user already have software programs on the server, ISPmanager will attempt to integrate with them during the installation process.

ISPmanager Lite for Windows

To install ISPmanager on Windows you need a server with the "Windows server 2008" operating system installed.

The main requirements for the control panel to function are as follows:

• IIS 7 service
• DNS service 

The program will download and install FTP 7 by itself.

ISPmanager Cluster

The servers that are included into the cluster should have at least 2 network interface cards. The Linux Debian 5.0 (or higher) operating system should be installed on these servers.
