Features

The VDSmanager Control Panel provides three access levels each of theml having its appropriate roles and responsibilities. VDSmanager's user hierarchy enables higher level users to access the accounts of their users below. Administrators can log in to any reseller account, their customer's account and their individual domains.

The VDSmanager Panel user hierarchy:

Administrator

The highest level login which enables administrators to quickly and easily set up and manage all Virtual Private Servers. Administrators can access all of the features and functions of the VDSmanager Control Panel users.

  • Main Features
    • VPS Management. The VDSmanager basic module provides Virtual Private Servers management tools: you can create, edit, delete, suspend / start, and many others.
    • User management. Administrators can access all of the features and functions of other administrators and resellers.
  • Server Statistics
    • Bandwidth. Detailed traffic statistics per virtual private service.
    • Resource allocation problems. Monitor resources that were not allocated to your virtual private servers.
    • Resources usage. Monitor system resources consumed by the virtual servers.
    • Main system usage. Track the system performance at regular intervals.
    • Active sessions. Monitor current operation that are under way in VDSmanager.
    • Action log. Complete list of the actions that the control panel users performed.
    • VS partition usage. Create and customize private disks.
    • System information. Information concerning the control panel's operating system and devices' parameters.
  • Integration
    • Integration with IPmanager. Customize integration with the IPmanager control panel. 
    • Integration with DNSmanager. Customize integration with the DNSmanager control panel.
    • ISPmanager License. Customize integration with BILLmanager for automatic creation of ISPmanager licenses.
    • Slave servers. Customize multiple slave servers that can be managed via a single web-interface.

    • Brand settings. Change your control panel's logo, color scheme, link to the web-site.
    • VPS templates. Create and manage templates for your virtual private server creation.

Reseller

Reseller is the second tier login account where the users are given domain creation rights from the Server Administrator. Resellers have full control over their customers within limits set by Server Administrator.

    • VPS Management. Manage virtual private servers assigned to a reseller by his Administrators.
  • Server Statistics
    • Bandwidth usage. Detailed traffic statistics per virtual private service.
    • Resource allocation problems. Monitor resources that were not allocated to your virtual private servers.

    • VPS templates. Create and manage templates for your virtual private server creation.
    • Control panel setting. Customize the VDSmanager interface.

VPS Administrator

Third tier VPS owner with the rights to access The VDSmanager Control Panel using the primary server IP address as login and root password. VPS Administrator has access to set options on, user management access, can view the server statistics, and more.

  • Main Features
    • System Information. Information concerning the control panel's operating system and devices' parameters.
    • IP-addresses. This module can be used to bind a domain name to an IP-address of your virtual private server.
    • Running processes. Monitor the processes that are currently under way.
    • Private files. Access to the virtual server file system that includes the server private files and disk template files.
    • Backups. Backup and recover an entire VPS or a single file.
  • Management Tools
    • Rebooting VPS. Reboot your virtual private server.
    • Reinstalling VPS. Reinstall your virtual private server.
  • Server Statistics
    • Bandwidth usage. Detailed traffic statistics per virtual private service.
    • Resource allocation problems. Monitor resources that were not allocated to your virtual private servers.
    • VPS usage report. Monitor the amount of resources your virtual private server consumed.
    • Current system usage. Monitor system resources that are consumed by the virtual servers.
