Working with BIOS/UEFI

BIOS and UEFI are low-level programs for working with server hardware. You can manage BIOS (UEFI) settings through the platform interface.

In the current implementation, the feature is only available in the Infrastructure version for Aquarius servers with BMC Redfish connectivity.

Managing BIOS/UEFI settings

To manage BIOS (UEFI) settings, go to Servers → select server → BIOS/UEFI section.

The contents of the section are displayed 10-15 minutes after the server is added to the platform. The set of parameters depends on the BIOS (UEFI) model.

To change the parameters:

  1. Select the desired parameter values. Sections in which parameters have been changed are marked with the icon.
  2. Go to the Modified Settings section and verify that the changes are correct. To cancel a setting, click the icon next to its value. You can also Cancel all changes.
  3. Click the Apply button.
The server will restart to apply the settings. Until the new settings are applied, the partition form will not be available. After the settings are applied, a pop-up notification will appear in the platform.
