Web domain management

ISPmanager offers a wide range of tools for domain name management.

Domain creation:

  • enter the name of the domain purchased from your domain registrar,
  • enter aliases,
  • set up path to domain directory,
  • choose the owner of the domain,
  • specify the IP address to attach the domain to,
  • specify index pages,
  • create mail domains with the same names,
  • activate dynamic settings for additional subdomains based on the directory with subdomain files.

If you host a few websites, each website can have a dedicated web domain. Apache uses VirtualHost mechanism, while nginx utilizes a few server sections in the config file, which have different names attached to the same IP addresses.

After the domain had been created in ISPmanager, you can edit its parameters and manage the list of external database servers.

If dynamic settings for additional subdomains based on the directory with subdomain files are activated, subdomains can be managed via the file manager.
