Architecture & Automation
UP-NETWORK migrated to the ISPsystem ecosystem to further refine its approach to service automation, improving operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
A dedicated automation layer enables tighter integration between physical resources and management systems, ensuring seamless interaction between Swiss-based infrastructure and service orchestration. This provides a reliable path from hardware provisioning to end-user delivery.
Challenges & The Choice
The objective was to implement a unified ecosystem capable of bridging automated high-performance VPS deployment with a professional billing and client management platform, ensuring a consistent experience across deployment, billing, and operations.
This approach aims to enhance operational consistency and streamline workflows while supporting scalable operations.
The ISPsystem ecosystem was selected for its ability to combine automated VPS provisioning, infrastructure management, and client operations within a single environment. It proved reliable in production and well-suited to operational requirements.
Deployment & Integration
The migration was carried out through a structured and controlled process, with configuration and validation phases ensuring stability and continuity throughout the transition. The integration was handled internally, ensuring alignment with infrastructure standards and operational requirements.
ISPsystem support provided relevant guidance during deployment, contributing to a smooth and efficient integration process. As part of this evolution, provisioning is now fully automated, with VPS instances deployed within 2 to 4 minutes after payment confirmation.
Technology Stack & Operational Performance
UP-NETWORK leverages key components of the ISPsystem ecosystem:
- VMmanager for VPS deployment and virtualization
- BILLmanager for client management, billing, and service workflows
- DCImanager for infrastructure and data center management
These tools are actively used across the platform to support automation and day to day operations, contributing to consistent and reliable service delivery.
Following the transition, provisioning workflows became more consistent and predictable, reducing operational overhead and improving reliability at scale.
This approach enables efficient operations with a lean engineering team, supporting fast, stable, and repeatable deployments across the infrastructure.
