Managing network equipment, address space and IP addresses (IPAM)
IPv4/IPv6 management, VLAN, address and network accounting

Key features
Creating address pools and subnets
Combining IP addresses and physical subnets into pools to simplify management and accounting processes
IP Address Inventory
Keeping records for address space and preventing errors in its management
DNSBL check
Checking IP addresses for presence on host blacklists and preventing spam attacks
Saving action history
Logging of all activities in physical networks to control infrastructure management and investigate incidents
Managing IP Addresses in DCImanager
To manage the address space in DCImanager, the IPmanager 6 module is used. The module allows you to create a common address space with other platform instances.
IPv4/IPv6 Address Management and Inventory
DCImanager provides extensive address space management capabilities via the IP address management (IPAM) system.
Pooling IP addresses and physical subnets
DCImanager allows you to group IP addresses and physical networks into logical pools. This simplifies address space management: it allows you to easily allocate groups of IP addresses for different tasks and provides tracking of IP address usage - how many are free, how many are occupied and by what equipment.
Automatic and manual assignment of IP addresses
The system supports both automatic and manual assignment of IP addresses. Administrators can select IP addresses from predefined pools or assign them manually.
Keeping records of IP addresses and networks
DCImanager keeps detailed records of all IP addresses and networks. This helps reduce the impact of human error and avoid errors such as dual assignment or loss of IP addresses. The system allows you to track occupied and free addresses, as well as connected hosts.
Checking for the presence of IP addresses in DNSBL
Checking your IP address against blacklists helps prevent the use of compromised addresses that may be sources of spam or other unwanted activity.
View action history
DCImanager keeps a history of all changes in physical networks, allowing you to track who made changes to equipment settings and when. This provides a high level of control over the infrastructure and helps in incident investigation.
