Sell VMware vCloud Director (NSX-T) resources automatically using BILLmanager

There are many clients who use BILLmanager to sell resources, such as virtual and dedicated servers, not only through VMmanager virtualization platform but also through other solutions to extend the service package.

We are continuously improving BILLmanager integrations with third-party virtualization platforms so that our customers solve their tasks quickly and efficiently.

For example, in version 6.118, our team has implemented the Vmware vCloud Director (NSX-T) processing module. Providers can now provision virtual data centers (VDCs) based on VMware vCloud Director 10.6, which uses NSX-T (NSX-Transformers) for Data Center network virtualization.

Integration allows the clients to:

  • Order and manage virtual data center services, such as buying, changing parameters and deleting.
  • Manage objects within VDC, such as virtual machines, networks, routers, IP and other.
  • Set up various tariff plan systems for VDC service resources: based on consumed resources, PAYG (Pay as you go) or a combination of these.

As a result, businesses get a tool that provides flexible, transparent and secure operation of cloud resources through a single dashboard.

Integration is configurable when creating service processing module in BILLmanager. The set up procedure has been described in the documentation.

Please note that vCloud Director (NSX-T) module is not available for BILLmanager with CentOS 7. If you are running CentOS 7 x64, we recommend migrating BILLmanager to a supported OS.

We are making regular updates of the platform – follow our news not to miss out on something important.
