How to determine the source and method of payment

Use case

When dealing with payments, you may need to find out:

• by which payment method the payment was made;
• who created and credited the payment. For example, a client or an administrator.

It may be useful for:

• control of bonus or cashback accruals when a separate payment method is created for them;
• tracking payments that are manually credited by the administrator.

Solution

To check:

1. Payment method: enter Billing → Payments → Payment method column.
2. Who credited the payment:
   1. Enter Billing → Payments;
   2. Select the payment.
   3. Click History → User column.
