Problem
After moving BILLmanager 6 to a new server, the login page either doesn't show the language you used before (for example, Spanish) or won't switch to it. What happens on the login page:
- the language is not listed in the dropdown menu;
- when a language is selected, the system jumps to a different one. For example, when Spanish is selected, English is applied instead.
Cause
The language binding at the provider level broke during the migration.
Solution
To fix the problem, reconnect the language at the provider level:
- Go to Provider → Providers.
- Select the provider.
- Click Localizations.
- Turn off the language:
- Select the language and click
Disable. - Confirm by clicking Ok.
- Select the language and click
- Turn it back on:
- Click
Enable. - Confirm by clicking Ok.
- Click
- Clear your browser cache, then check the language selection on the login page.
