Debian 7 Wheezy: end of support

ISPSystem

Starting from version 5.199, ISPsystem control panels will stop supporting the outdated operating system Debian 7 Wheezy. On May 31, 2018, Debian 7 reached its end-of-life and was deleted from the official repositories.

Your control panel will continue working, but won’t receive updates no matter when you purchased the license. To get a new version of the control panel, please update to Debian 9 or switch to CentOS.

A short guide for OS updating:

  1. In order to update an OS you'll need two servers: the current one and the second server with a recently installed operating system you need.
  2. Install a trial license on the new server and move the data from the existing server.
  3. Activate the license of the control panel —enter the IP-address of the new server in your account.
Important: do not update the OS on your current server! It will cause deleting all your data.

Please find details in our documentation and feel free to contact our support if you have any questions.
