Simple inventory management of all types of equipment
DCImanager has ready-made forms for all major types of server equipment:

You can also manage inventory of any other equipment, from patch panels to cables. To do this, simply create an appropriate equipment type in DCImanager.
Putting a new server or switch on the inventory is easy: just fill out a ready-made form.
Automatic detection and inventorying of components
DCImanager automatically detects components installed in the servers. The parts you find can be put on the inventory in a couple of clicks. This eliminates the need to fill out the cards yourself and specify detailed characteristics. If the part has been moved to another server, all you need is to run diagnostics again and update the list of components.
Equipment statuses and operating history
DCImanager shows where the equipment was used, where it was stored, and whether it was repaired. History stores information about who did the movements and when. The movement history helps, for example, when investigating incidents or to determine what equipment is best allocated to a particular project.
