The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect on May 25. It will apply to all companies that provide services to EU citizens. We work with clients around the world and want to provide the equal security clearance for everyone. Therefore, the GDPR changes will affect all users of ISPsystem panels.
What has changed
The GDPR improves the level of personal data protection and allows users to control their data. It regulates the order of personal data collection, its purposes and period of storage. We took into account all requirements and made changes in the documents.
- We have renewed the Privacy policy and defined what information we collect, store, process and pass. Also we described users rights. More about the Privacy policy;
- We have set the Cookies Policy where we described what technologies are used, what they are needed for, and how to turn them off. More about the Cookie policy;
- UPD: Further, we have made modifications in our products to comply with GDPR. Most changes have been applied to BILLmanager, we wrote the article about them in our blog.
Note! On May 25 we will unsubscribe you from ISPsystem newsletters since we need your agreement on it according to the GDPR. You can subscribe for the newsletters in your Client area anytime. Please note, you will still be getting system notifications about your services, payments, and etc. as long as you are our Client.
What you need to do
When you log in your to your Client area at eu.ispsystem.com, next time, you will need to do the following steps:
- Get acquainted and agree with the Privacy policy;
- Agree with the Services user agreement (there have been no changes but we still need you to accept);
- Subscribe for the newsletters from ISPsystem, if you want to get them. We deliver news 1-2 times per month and tell about important company and software news only.
All these steps will be available in the pop-up window after you log in to your Client area at eu.ispsystem.com. For new users these settings will be available in the registration form. When you visit our website next time, accept the the Cookies policy or turn them off in your browser.
