Creating a VM with multiple disks

This is the documentation for the deprecated product BILLmanager 6 Startup and BILLmanager 6 Advanced. It is no longer updated and may be irrelevant. Documentation for the current version of BILLmanager can be found in the BILLmanager 6 section.

To enable a client to order a virtual machine (VM) with multiple disks:

Create a VM configuration in VMmanager with the required number of disks. Read more in Configurations of virtual machines of VMmanager documentation.
Configure a tariff plan in BILLmanager:
1. Specify the name of the created configuration in the VPS template parameter.
2. If the client should not be able to change the configuration of a VM, exclude Number of CPUs, RAM and Disk space parameters from the tariff plan content.
  The Disk size parameter affects only the size of the main disk of the VM.
Storage for VM disks is selected on the VMmanager side. Read more in the platform documentation.
