This is the documentation for the deprecated product DCImanager 5. It is no longer updated and may be irrelevant. Documentation for the current version of DCImanager can be found in the DCImanager 6 section.
After you have installed the panel, complete the following steps:
- Create a local pool of IP addresses and integrate the panel with IPmanager to manage the server IP addresses. Learn more in the article IP addresses pool management.
- Install the OS templates you are going to use. To do so, go to Settings→ OS templates. Learn more in OS template management.
- Add racks. Learn more in How to add a rack
- automatically — using the server search option. Learn more in Server search.
- manually — create a platform for servers and add a server. Learn more in Platform types, Add a new server;
- Add equipment. Learn more in Equipment.
