DCImanager uses modules (device handlers) to manage equipment. The following is a complete list of handlers and their description.
DCImanager can manage the following types of server equipment:
- IPMI;
- Intel AMT;
- switches;
- routers;
- PDU.
- UPS;
- sensors.
Devices are connected to servers for managing, monitoring, collecting information, etc.

| SNMP Common V2 | Similar to SNMP Common, but provides more advanced functionality. You can use it if SNMP Common cannot collect statistics from your devices. SNMP Common uses Cisco OID portIndex to index ports when collecting statistics, therefore statistics cannot be collected on a number of devices. New SNMP Common V2 uses standard IfIndex, allowing for statistics collection on most devices. SNMP Common V2 requires IfIndex preservation between re-initializations that is performed with a specific switch command.
