A router is a device that sends packages between different network segments on the basis of general rules and tables of routing. Routers are used to connect different networks.
This article describes how DCImanager can manage routers. To manage a router, please go to Equipment → Routers.
Edit router configuration
Click on Edit to change the configuration.
Here you can edit the data you have specified when adding a new router and specify the following information:
- Supplier;
- Purchase date;
- Warranty (months);
- Price;
- Serial number.
Manage router interfaces
Click on Interfaces.
This list contains addresses of the networks that the IP address used on the interface belongs to.
Click on Refresh to see the current router status and statuses of its ports. The time period required to receive actual statuses depends on the equipment used.
