Measuring devices are used to obtain information about server temperature.
The article describes DCImanager measuring devices management tools. Navigate to Equipment → Units of measure to start managing the devices.
Measuring device status
Click Refresh to get the current status of the measuring device. The time of getting the current status of the device depends on the equipment used.
Editing switch configuration
Click Edit for modifying the configuration.
The edit form allows to change the data specified during the creation of the measuring device, as well as specify additional information:
- Supplier;
- Purchase date;
- Warranty (months);
- Price;
- Serial number.
Sensors management
Click Sensors → Connect and choose the target rack or server to connect the sensor to.
