Configuring a PDU

Port polling

To get the current status of ports, go to Equipment → PDU → click on the PDU name → Poll PDU. Automatic PDU polling occurs every five minutes.

Connecting equipment

1. Go to Equipment → Power distribution unit (PDU) → click on the PDU name → Ports.
2. Click on → Connect to device.
3. Select the device type in the Connection type field:
   1. To the server;
   2. To the switch;
   3. To the PDU;
   4. To the UPS;
   5. Other.
4. Select the device location:
   
   1. In the PDU rack;
   2. In any rack.
5. Select the device to connect to the switch and click Save.

Connecting the power supply

1. Go to Equipment → Power distribution unit (PDU) → click on the PDU name → Ports.
2. Click Connect to UPS or Connect to PDU.
3. Choose Connection type:
   • To PDU;
   • To UPS.
4. Select the Device location:
   • In the PDU rack;
   • In any rack.
5. Select the required piece of equipment. For a PDU, also specify the port.
6. Click Save.

Ports configuring

To change ports statuses, go to Equipment → PDU → click on the switch name → Ports and click on Enabled/Disabled switch. 

To add a comment for the port, go to Equipment → PDU → click on the switch name → Ports →   → Notes.
