"Projects" module. Diagnostics and troubleshooting

This article covers methods for resolving common issues when working with the Projects module.

User does not see project services

If a user with a standard role does not see services in the list, check their membership in the project. To do this:

  1. Go to the Project Management → Projects section.
  2. Select the required project and click the Users button.
  3. Select the user in the list and click the Include button to add them to the project.

A client user with the Full access flag is automatically considered a member of all client projects. They cannot be removed from a project — such a user can view and modify all client services, regardless of projects.

Cost limit does not block service orders

The available project funds are calculated as the lesser of two values: the project limit balance and the client's account balance client.
If the cost limit does not block service orders :

  1. Check the cost limit balance in the project card.
  2. Check the client's account balance.

If the account balance is below the project limit, the restriction applies to the account balance. If the account is blocked, available funds are zero.

Unable to delete a project

The platform does not allow deleting a project if it has linked services. To free the project from services and then delete it:

  1. Open the project services list (click Services).
  2. Select all services and click Disable to unlink them from the project.
  3. Delete the project.

Project cloud is not created during ordering

To create an isolated tenant, the resource tariff and cloud category must use the same processing module. To create a project cloud during ordering:

  1. Check the resource tariff processing module (for example, a virtual server).
  2. Check the cloud category processing module in the Project Management → Project Settings → Clouds section.
  3. Make sure the values match.
  4. Make sure the cloud category is enabled for ordering.
  5. Check that a tariff of the billcloud product type is created and connected for the cloud category.

Non-metered resource disappeared from the service list

If a resource (for example, a virtual network) is deleted directly in the external virtualization system interface, the platform will automatically remove it from the project's service list during the next synchronization.

This is standard behavior of the synchronization mechanism. To restore the resource, create it again through the BILLmanager interface.
