Integration with ispmanager allows the provider to offer virtual hosting to clients. For more details on hosting setup, see the article How to sell shared hosting.
Before starting integration, you need to:
- Create a data center.
- Configure integration with IPmanager. See the article Integration with IPmanager. ISPmanager for details.
Create a data center
To ensure correct processing module operation, create a data center managed by ISPmanager in BILLmanager. Go to Integration → Data centers → click Add:
- Specify the data center Name.
- Leave the External data center id field empty.
- Set the Sorting order.
- To display an icon next to the data center name, enable the Use icon option. You can:
- set a country flag as the icon;
- upload a PNG image file. The standard icon display size is 32x32 px.
- Click Ok.
Integration configuration
Integration is configured during processing module creation in BILLmanager. See the article Service processing principles for details.
To create a processing module, go to Integration → Processing modules → click Add:
- Product type — select "Shared hosting".
- Processing module — select the processing module for your ispmanager version.
- Integration settings. Specify integration credentials:
- In the Processing module configuration section:
- URL — full address of the control panel where services will be created.
- Username — account name in ispmanager. Integration requires an account with "Administrator" access level. ispmanager also allows using a "Reseller"-level account for integration. BILLmanager will manage (create, suspend, delete, etc.) client accounts in ispmanager on behalf of this account.
- Password — account password.
- In the Integration with IPmanager section, select which server will handle IP address allocation. Integration with IPmanager. ISPmanager must be configured in advance.
- In the Processing module configuration section:
- Processing module parameters. Configure internal (within BILLmanager) processing module parameters:
- Data center — select the BILLmanager data center to which the processing module will be connected.
- Name — specify the processing module name for display in the BILLmanager interface.
- Department — select the department that will receive tasks from the processing module.
- Sort — set the processing module priority. If multiple processing modules are connected to a tariff plan, the processing module with the lowest priority value will be selected first when creating a service.
