General information. VMmanager 6

Integration with VMmanager 6 allows the provider to offer virtual servers (VPS, virtual machines, VMs) to clients.

After the service is paid BILLmanager sends the API request to VMmanager 6 to creating a virtual machine. The service is considered active (its status is "Active" in BILLmanager) when the operating system is installed and the IP address is added to the VM.

A new client account with the "User" access level will be created in VMmanager along with the server. If the client already has an account, the new VM will be linked to it.

If the service is provided under a reseller scheme, an account with an email address in the format vm****@example.com is automatically created in VMmanager for the end client. For example, vm6189@example.com. In reselling, it is impossible to:

  • use the end client's email instead of the generated one;
  • replace the domain of the accounts example.com with another one.

After the service is activated, the client can review the instruction that contains the VMmanager 6 URL and login details. The instruction can be found in Products/Service Virtual servers → select a service  → Instruction.

 The instruction is available only if the provider has specified the Service activation template in the tariff configuration form.
